4. When Mia's parents finally believe Mia and decide to take her to the doctor, she struggles with whether or not she wants to be "cured" of seeing colors. Have you ever had to choose between keeping something that makes you special and giving it up to fit in with everyone else? If so, what did you decide and why?

No I have never had to give anything up that makes me special. I wish I did though so I would be different from everyone else in the school or class. I wish I were color blind or had synesthesia.

I have not given up anything that made me special because I don't have anything that makes me special. But if I did I wouldn't give it up because it would make me different and different is cool.

I have had to choose between something that I love so much; my play station and being grounded for a month or take a tutor and not be grounded, but have my station taken away. I have decided that I would take a tutor and not be grounded.
